Passion, Before It Had a Name
Jack Diehl, PGA, began his golf journey at age 11, caddying at Gulph Mills Golf Club, one of Pennsylvania’s most exclusive private clubs. It was there his instinct for service and hospitality took root — reading a member’s mood, anticipating a need before it was spoken, treating a round like the most important thing happening that day. He learned early that exceptional hospitality isn’t about extravagance; it’s about understanding people and getting a hundred small details exactly right.
That pursuit of excellence followed Jack to the University of Scranton, where he managed the men’s basketball team through an NCAA Division III National Championship and competed on a golf team that captured three conference titles and made three NCAA appearances.
That competitive spirit carried into a career as a Fortune 100/500 executive, where he sharpened relationship-building and business acumen — and learned that a round of golf builds relationships that cold calls never can.
Along the way, Jack’s passions kept expanding. As a PSIA-certified ski instructor with the Aspen Skiing Company, he embraced Aspen’s philosophy to “Live Passionately” — adding skiing, and a deeper love of luxury travel, to everything he’d built.
Golf. Hospitality. Leadership. Competition. Skiing. Luxury travel. A servant’s heart. Eventually, these passions and skills converged into one pursuit. Jack combined every one of them to create Life List Golf.

You are a PGA Professional, you know this job is really about trust, earned one interaction at a time. Jack has spent more than thirty years building exactly that — through two decades in private clubs and resorts including the Snowmass Club in Aspen, Greystone Golf & Country Club (home of the PGA Champions Tour’s Regions Tradition), and the Country Club of Landfall, along with years of travel with the PGA of America.
The results speak for themselves, to name a few: 5000+ lessons; memberships doubled (retention plus growth); $240,000 (17.8% OF BUDGET) loss wiped out in a single year; and, merchandise sales increases up to 300% with 64% COGS.

As founder, producer, and host of Synergy Golf Pro-Ams, Jack built and ran standout interclub competitions across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica — earning the trust of private clubs and fellow PGA professionals who now look to him first when they want an event worth flying for.
